Mindful LIVING: Drop In

(1.5 hours)

The Mindfulness Institute offers Drop-In sessions open to everyone.

The Drop-In sessions are for anyone who would like to practice meditation in a safe and comfortable group setting. The teaching is secular, and participants of any spiritual or religious background are welcome. The goal of this program is to explore the benefits of mindfulness meditation and to develop community with other meditators. No previous experience with meditation is required. New and experienced Meditators are welcome. 

In each session, we will explore what mindfulness is and the effects of mindfulness on various aspects of quality of life and stress management. We will engage in guided meditations, and participants will be given access to brief guided meditations that can be followed at home. There will also be time to ask questions and to explore how mindfulness can be developed in the context of our busy lives. Instructions will be given for participants who have limited experience with meditation. 

Drop-In classes are led by Priscilla M. Koop, PhD. Please contact Priscilla at pmkoop@gmail.com if you wish to attend. Zoom links and information will be sent by email several days before the session.

This class is offered by donation (dana). Your contribution will help cover costs and support the continued running of this program.

The Mindfulness Institute.ca reserves the right to cancel this program due to unforeseen circumstances.
